Created for professionals in animation, VFX, and motion design, ScatterFlow allows you to automatically scatter boxes, bricks, trash, tires, and more — all behaving as if they’ve been tossed into a scene, reacting to gravity and collisions for maximum realism.
The plugin offers several distribution modes:
- single object placement,
- continuous fill,
- grid-based layout (perfect for books, tiles, and similar objects).
Assets can be “tossed” and repositioned manually in the viewport while still maintaining physical behavior.
ScatterFlow also includes OpenScatter, a popular open-source scattering tool, making the plugin highly versatile for artists who need quick, physical placement of multiple objects.
There are two versions available:
- Standard — $19
- Extended — $50, with a bonus asset library of over 450 ready-made items (barrels, cans, debris, etc.).
In a time when tools like Solaris in Houdini or Substance 3D Stager dominate the industry, ScatterFlow gives Blender a powerful and affordable alternative — perfect for building photoreal scenes with ease.
