Epic Games has officially released Twinmotion 2025.2, the latest version of its real-time visualization software for architecture and interior design.
The key innovation is the integration of Nanite, a virtualized geometry system first introduced in Unreal Engine.
Now Twinmotion can handle scenes containing millions of polygons by loading only the visible parts, resulting in faster performance and a smoother creative experience.
🔹 Key New Features
- Nanite — virtualized geometry rendering for ultra-detailed models without performance loss.
- Material Multidrop — assign one material to multiple objects at once.
- Material folders — organize large libraries more efficiently.
- Enhanced animation tools:
- Exploder Animators for dynamic “explosion” effects;
- Translation and Rotation parameters for natural movement and rotation;
- new artistic filters — pencil, sketch, painting, and more.
- Added Motion Blur, a new collection of parallax window shaders, and .cube LUT color grading import.
-
Flexible licensing:
- free for individual users and studios with revenue under $1M per year;
- $445/year per commercial seat for larger companies.
Twinmotion 2025.2 supports Windows and macOS and integrates seamlessly with tools like 3ds Max, SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, Archicad, and more.
🔹 Baxx Pro’s Perspective
At Baxx Pro, a studio specializing in architectural and interior 3D visualization, we see Twinmotion 2025.2 as a major leap forward.
With Nanite and the improved animation toolkit, visualizers can now achieve near–Unreal Engine quality in real time — without complex setups or long render times.
This makes Twinmotion an excellent choice for architects, designers, and studios aiming for realistic, fast, and efficient visualization.
